Ferguson and the African-American Community

We all know the narrative: Racist white cop shoots innocent black child because its open season on innocent black children. There's an epidemic of racist white cops doing this for no other reason than they're racist.  OMG!  Save the children! (and loot a big-screen TV while you're at it).  Then, the truth comes out to wit: and the innocent child had just robbed a store, assaulted a cop, and was coming at him a second time.  But that doesn't matter, America is more racist today than ever, says the narrative. Wasn't Barak supposed to bring racial harmony?  Oops.

This video says it all:

Here's my thought:  Self-appointed "black leaders" speak like this is America of the 1950s deep south. It isn't.  We've got affirmative action and all kinds of special considerations for minorities. Don't give me the poor, disadvantaged black person is a victim of racism crap. Its a values problem. The black community in many cities (and I can speak from life experience) generally does not value education, fatherhood, and family values. Rather, they value victimhood, dependence on others (read Government) to take care of them, baby daddies, thug life, and easy money. The African-American community doesn't have a racism problem, it has a values problem.  Great men like Bill Cosby and Dr. Alvin Poussaint have been saying the same thing, but they are largely ignored...or called "Uncle Toms."

And what about when whites are victims? Are there riots? Chaos?  Morons to stand up and tell us how bad we have it in this racist country?  And if you don't think it happens, here are just two recent examples:

Many more examples are out there on the 'net. Just not in the media.  Remember the "this is for Trayvon" attacks?

But getting back to our beloved president.  Can someone please explain to me how he had time to send a 3-person delegation to Michael Brown's funeral (a political event), yet had no representation at General Green's (the highest ranking officer killed in combat since Vietnam) funeral just two weeks earlier? (a non-political event) Too busy playing golf, I guess.

These Things Should be Banned

 photo 20140824_095446_zpsrblv0o2m.jpg

Other than illegals holding up the checkout line because they have no clue how to handle U.S. dollars and can't communicate with the clerk in English, the most annoying thing at grocery stores has to be these stupid carts. These monstrosities block the aisles and create traffic jams, especially when the store is busy.  And the parents who use these things often think its cute to go fast just to entertain their child.  Sometimes they are even more aggressive drivers than the malingering, entitled twits who drive those electric shopping carts around, and that's saying something.  I hope that the parents who use these child-friendly carts get home and unload their bags only to find melted ice cream and broken eggs.

Allen West: Republicans' Proud History of Standing Up for African-Americans

Part 1:

Part 2:

Yet after all this, most African-Americans remain on the Democratic party plantation. I just don't get it.
